Mission

Bay Ridge Center’s mission is to provide services and programs
for adults 60 years and older in southwest Brooklyn that promote
their well-being, support their independence and encourage their involvement in community life. Since 1976 our staff has been aided
by enthusiastic volunteers and works in cooperation with other community organizations, local businesses, schools and social
service organizations to fulfill its mission.

At Bay Ridge Center, we envision a vibrant community where older adults thrive, finding purpose, support, and opportunities for active engagement. Our vision is to be the heart of southwest Brooklyn, a hub where adults 60+ are empowered to lead fulfilling lives, pursue their passions, and contribute to the rich tapestry of our neighborhood. Through innovative programs, compassionate care, and collaborative partnerships, we aspire to create a welcoming environment that celebrates the wisdom, experiences, and aspirations of every individual we serve.
