This Year’s Interns

We are delighted to have eight interns working with us now.  The come from College of Staten Island, Columbia University, Guttman Community College, Hunter College, and NY University. All are social work students in either a Baccalaureate or Master’s program.  These students are helping the Center with welcoming new members and completing their intake process.  They are making calls to members to check-in and ensure they are ok and providing case assistance to our members.  

We encourage you to come to the Center and meet them.  They would be delighted to chat, counsel or assist you with benefits and other services.  Below is a listing of the interns with a brief bio. You’ll read that they have wide variety of other interests ranging from helping people with autism and loving weight lifting.
